We were on the RCI Allure in June 2013 on our first visit and the planes were FIRST thing we wanted to do AFTER picking up shirts from the Hard Rock Cafe. We ate lunch at a Subway very nearby and then found a taxi to take us to Sunset Bar & Grill. We missed the BIG planes but was still able to view many other planes for a couple of hours and walk around. Had a fun time! We grabbed a taxi from the Sunset Bar & Grill and headed back. No issues for our visit. I know I had heard that you don't want to catch it too close in the evening trying to get back to the ships due to traffic and the drawbridge. Now we're looking forward to our next visit in June 2016! Can't wait!

I used one over the door shoe holder that had 20 clear pockets for our first cruise in 2013. It did have 3 metal brackets but I also brought a strip of the no slip rubberized shelf liner to put under the hooks and it worked like a charm. Planning on bringing an extra holder this time for the bathroom.:)

We have 49 days until our first cruise EVER on the RCI Allure!!! Getting excited the more and more I read on the boards here. :)

How many days until your next cruise?????? Hopefully it's soon, as I know we all enjoy time spent on the open seas.

 

I only have 78 days until my cruise, and I am already getting ancious to go. I wish it was sooner, then the time on the cruise would just crawl so it seemed longer, lol.

We're with you on that idea! We're nondrinkers (& rarely soft drinks) too. Jamaica Resorts kept us and our kids in "icee" drinks the whole week we were there. You'd think the cruise line would be able to come up with something similar for us.
