Hello!
I have searched google and this site without much luck regarding this stateroom. I am booked for the Thanksgiving holiday and was hoping to see pictures of this specific stateroom as I know even within the FOV category the rooms can vary.
We were on this ship in stateroom 6200 a couple years ago and it had the small bunkbed room right when you enter the room.
I am curious if this particular room has the bunk bed room as well or if it's different.
If anyone has stayed in this specific room I would greatly appreciate pictures/videos/comments regarding the layout.
Thank you for your time!

Hello all,
I just got off the Liberty of the Seas yesterday. My family and I stayed in family ocean view stateroom 6200. When I booked this room, I came on the forums to see if I could find some pictures or a review and was unable to locate any for this specific room.
Now that I am back, I wanted others thinking about booking this room to have a little more information.
Traveling with me was my husband and our 3 small children ages 8,5, and 3.
This room was more than sufficient for our needs. It had 3 closets plus 2 drawers in the nightstands and 6 drawers in the desk.

I am not sure what the old policy was but, I am getting off liberty today and the policy was they scanned your card and you got up to 2 towels per card. After using them for the day we were allowed to exchange them for fresh ones without scanning the card.
At the end of the week I turned them in and they scanned my card.

My family and I boarded today and it went well. Got to the port around 11 and lines were short and we got right on in about 30 to 45 minutes which included the pictures and us having to fill out a form we forgot.

Hello all!
We are getting closer to our sailing and I wanted to check in and see if anyone has sailed in 6200 since I originally posted.
I am curious if 6200 has the second room with the bunk beds and an actual door or if it's the curtain.
If anyone has pictures I would love to see some of the room.
Thank you!

Thank you for replying! I will email just to make sure but, I feel better hearing they weren't enforcing it when you went. :)

So we are all ready to start our journey in the rain forest and to the river. Wait, where are our tubes??? SAY WHAT? YOU CARRY THEM FOR US NOW? Now I know if you had any problems, were elderly, had walking issues, had children or for whatever reason before, they would gladly carry your tubes. However, this had obviously changed. We no longer carried our tubes. As a matter of fact, the guides with the tubes were long gone before we started. They took the tubes straight to the place you get in to the water and they are sitting there waiting on you. WOW, nice job .bz. Everyone else we seen were carrying their own tubes or their guides were lugging them around for them while they walked.
So here we go. This is the beginning.
I see in the picture above that it says the height restriction is 48 inches. My youngest will be 3 when we leave next month and he is currently 41 inches. Did you notice if they were enforcing this? I see on their website they mention no age restriction and taking infants so I am assuming they don't but, it makes me nervous! I would hate to get there and be turned away.
Thanks!

Thank you for posting this. We are going on the Liberty over Thanksgiving and had no idea that the MDR was not open on embarkation day.
We have cruised Princess and NCL in the past and they both have the MDR open the first day for lunch.
I will make sure to eat a nice breakfast and avoid the buffet crowds. :) We are traveling with our small children for the first time so we don't need the added stress of trying to get a table for 5 in buffet!
To answer the question asked, we would definitely eat in the MDR if it was available.

I posted about room 6200 on Liberty a couple months back and didn't get an specific responses. Hopefully you will have better luck! I know there are a couple video tours on youtube for the ones on deck 8.

A straight beach break on one of the cayes would work. If it were my family, I wouldn't try cave tubing with a 3 year old. And that age may not be the best to enjoy climbing around on Maya ruins.
Thank you for the response. That is what were thinking as well but, I wanted to explore all options.
If we end up on the beach I won't complain. :)

Hello!
We are sailing over Thanksgiving and are interested in any activities that would be appropriate for children ages 8, 5, and 3. We are particularly concerned with our 3 year old being able to participate.
We just went earlier this month and did the sharks, rays, island getaway and even though the current was really rough we enjoyed it. I am not sure if we could do it with a 3 year old though.
Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Bumping in case anyone would like to chime in.
Thank you.

Thank you for the head's up. We normally wear a pair of pants on embarkation day and only pack shorts for the rest of the cruise. We will have to keep this in mind for our cruise in November.

Hello everyone,
I have been searching the forums for current information regarding this stateroom and have come up empty.
We are sailing over Thanksgiving this year. It will be myself, DH, our 8 year old son, 5 year old daughter, and 3 year old son. It will be the first cruise for our children.
DH and I have sailed twice before, both in aft balconies. Will the motion be similar to sailing aft?
I am hoping someone has recent pictures and/or a review of this room. If you've stayed in this room, would you choose it again or should I look into other options?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I know it is. They are probably not going to do very well if they charge that much for parking. It is less to park at the port than pay $20.00. I imagine the rates will go up a lot later on too. That's what happened in Galveston so you may have gotten a bargain anyway. I expect before we go on our cruise there that the prices everywhere around there will go up substantially.
Yes, I expect the prices will raise even more. I am filing it under "lesson learned" for next time.

Hopefully I can help someone else avoid a headache and added costs by posting this. A few weeks back on the visit bay area Houston website it showed the comfort suites as offering free parking and shuttle to the cruise terminal. It has since changed to only reflect the free shuttle.
I called to book and was quoted $135 for the cruise rate. I told the girl on the phone that I had an online rate of $75 plus tax and asked if I could book online to get the rate and still get the free parking and shuttle. I was told yes so I booked. I wish I had gotten the girls name but, of course I did not.
I received an email about my hotel stay and did not see any reference to the parking so I followed up with a phone call yesterday and was told that my booking did not include parking. Since my reservation was non-transferable and I could not cancel the booking either, I could add the parking at a cost of $20 a day at the comfort suites or pay the $75 at the cruise terminal.
Long story short, the girls answering the phone at the comfort suite gave wrong information which has now cost me $75 in additional parking fees. If you are going to book here and want the parking I suggest doing so on the phone so you know it's included.
Set Sail Pass ?
in Royal Caribbean International

I called Royal about this same issue yesterday as we are sailing on Sunday. I was informed that the one set sail pass with all 5 of our names on it was sufficient.
