  1. Cabin Number: 808

    Cruise Ship: majesty

    Date of Cruise: january 2015

    Bed Formation: double (king size)

    Bath/Shower?: shower

    Adjoining Cabin?: no

    Balcony?: yes

Comment on the Size of the Cabin: more than adequate

Comment on any Noise Issues: directly below a piano lounge so no noice at all

    Comment on Storage Space: ample

Comment on the Bathroom: ok average size for cabin, good shower head

Any Other Comments?: only 4 balcony cabins at front of ship either side. 808 and 807 on opposite sides are probably best, adjoining balconies are either near to a lifeboat or stairway to bridge. next best at front would be 806 and 805.

Would You Recommend this Cabin?: definitely

    Score out of 10: 9.5

Graystreet thanks for this after a bit more research we have paid the extra £42 and made sure that we've got cabin 808, one less thing to worry about!

Have you got any photos of the cabin/balcony view please?

I think this is the type of cabin that we've booked, can you please confirm that these cabins are just described as balcony cabins? And not balcony junior suite?

    Thanks Neil.

  3. Thanks for the replies very helpful, I didn't relase that Athens would be so easy and cheap to do!

Glad people dress up as this will be our second cruise (Celebrity Equinox being our first) as we really enjoyed wearing our DJ and nice dress.

Still can't seem to find out much about the balcony cabins but I'll keep searching.

  4. We're going on The Majesty Hellenic Classic cruise for seven nights June 2015 and I've got a couple of questions.

We've booked a Deluxe Balcony cabin but I can't seem to find out much info on these cabins, has anyone stayed in one?

Will many people dress up in DJ and dresses for the formal nights?

And finally, is it worth pre booking excursions before we go or wait to book on the ship. Or even try to sort out our own excursions.

    Itinerary is,

    Mykonos Town

    Kusadasi (Turkey)

    Piraeus (for Athens)

    Chania (Crete)

    Kalamata (Greece)

    Thanks Neil.
