I have made reservations for dinner one evening at LaReserve... I did not see a starting time on the site. Can anyone tell me what time the dinner is set for?
Thanks!

Thanks for your quick response Twickenham, along with the 2 options for us to investigate.

Since we'll have a couple of larger pieces of luggage we would be looking for ease and convenience.
Thanks!

Our cruise will disembark in Venice.... Would like to know the best way to get from the cruise terminal to Marriott's " Boscolo Venezia Hotel" which is on the canal...

Could you possibly recommend a good independent travel insurance company. We will cruising next year and would be interested in the savings verses purchasing from the cruise line. Many Thanks!

Igo57, have you checked for your roll call? You'll get much more information specific to your cruise there.

No, I haven't checked for a roll call yet, figured it would be a little too early for that. Just in the early stages of planning and booking this cruise right now. Look forward to learning about everyone's experiences and insights in the coming months.

October shouldn't be too wet at all in the Med. (Now I said that, watch it pour!).
Temperatures low 20°s and higher with warmer temperatures around Sicily and Greece, cooler in Liguria/Tuscany and Venice. Very pleasant weather, usually. A brolly - small folding one - is a good idea but you can always take one from the ship I suppose. October is an ideal time to travel in the area and it is really only on the Riviera that some places close - their "season" ends in September. Beach clubs etc will be closed just about everywhere though because children are in school so not enough people to keep them open. (Which is another reason that October is a great time to travel...)
Thanks Hambagahle! Hoping for very pleasant weather and no need for the "brolly".

but on the Riviera. We have been there in the fall and it is delightful. No tourists to speak of. Some places are closed, but we would rather do that than be on the ship with a lot of tourists and children (I raised a parcel of them). I think you will love it. Bring something in case it rains (maybe). Bring a "brelly" as the people in the UK would say. Always a good idea.

I hear the Riviera is a beautiful ship too ~ Enjoy! A “brolly” ;) is always in the suitcase … one never knows when a rain shower will arrive. Not too worried about some places being closed though, as long as there are not too many tourists. Of course going away while school is in session :) is a plus. Love children, raised a couple and took them many places, this one’s for us alone to soak in all the sights and delights!

Planning to take the 10 day cruise from Monte Carlo to Venice on the Marina, can anyone tell me how the weather is towards the end of October. Looks like a wonderful itinerary and we have read some wonderful reviews of this cruise line and ship. This will be the first of many questions to come! Thanks Much! :)

Not clear on the 20% discount part. Since we'll be in port everyday we decided not to purchase any the drink packages.... We'll purchase wine in the ports and just pay the cork fee.
Are the wine parings included in the price of the dinner?
