Your waiter can bring them for about $7 each.
Oh! True. I was busy drinking Dirty Monkey's. :)

Nachi Cocum is our favorite spot.
I'll have to agree! My husband and I loved Nachi.
-
I didn't see any floating mats at Nachi.

My husband and I just returned from a Western Caribbean itinerary. I'll be posting the cruise compasses as soon as I can.

I believe the Chefs Table was around $55 on the Vision which is why we did It. It is a 5 course meal with a different wine to accompany each course. The price plus the rave review I read about it here on CC is why we decided to do it. It was fabulous.
Thanks for the tip! Chops will be closed in my bday, so this may very well be the ticket. Can't beat that price either.

Enchantment was our first cruise and she was everything I hoped cruising would be. Review of our trip and ports in my signature. :)

Thanks for the review Nuke! I'm looking into different parking options.

::bump::
I'm looking to book with them as well. Has anyone used them? They have good reviews on Google and Yelp. Still, I'd like to see if anyone here has used them. Thanks in advanced!!

So where is Papitos located?
It's located in Punta Sur Park.

If by rocks you mean experience a lot of motion we did not find Enchantment to be rocking. We actually found it to be calm.
This was true! Enchantment was very calm. We liked the pace though, for our first cruise. :)

We booked in November, mostly because of work. My parents, who are avid cruisers, tell me it will be a bit "chilly."

1 -- If I were you, I'd take a good sunscreen and perhaps a hat for beach days.
2 -- I think sun dresses are most welcome on cruise ships. Are you talking about formal nights or evenings?
3 -- I wasn't too concerned with the possibility of getting seasickness, but I brought some medication with us just in case.
4 -- Go with the flow. Plan your little heart away, but in the end always just go with the flow.

My parents just got back from a trip on Allure and headed to Papito's while in Cozumel. They have done nothing but rave about this place since they arrived. I'm already booked at Nachi, but will consider this for future sailings.

They accept cash and any major credit card. What you pay online is a deposit.

There will be three other ships the day we port, so I've decided to make sure I get my reservation in as soon as possible. Early enough, but the deposit amount isn't so bad. I'm super excited about visiting Cozumel. CC Veteran's haven't let me down yet with all the great recommendations.

Here is a good link that shows a list of some Park & Cruise hotels in the Port Canaveral area.

Great website! We're starting to plan our cruise, plus a stay in Ft. Lauderdale after, so this helps a lot. Thank you!!

Contact Mears Transportation for option on getting from MCO to Pt.C. I would stay at a hotel near the port as opposed to a hotel in Orlando.
-
Great recommendations vets! I hadn't realized the MDR was so much more convinient than the WJ for breakfast. We'll have to remember that next time.

Wonderful review, and thank you for addressing so many of the concerns a new cruiser may have; but is too scared to ask. A lot of these we had as well prior to sailing, but found them to be unfounded.

Junkanoo Beach is a public beach within walking distance of the ship.
Or maybe Sheraton/Melia will still be doing day passes then. That might be worth checking into, even though it's not all-inclusive. They have 3 pools, a nice, calm beach and some watersports (kayaks, floats, etc).
I wouldn't recommend the Sheraton for a group that size. It is great for lounging about, but the killer is the fact that food + drinks are not included, unless you pay extra, and the menu is only so-so. We only paid for the pass itself and just ate at the Fish Fry later on.
From what I have read of Nachi Cocom, Nassau is missing out. ;)

I never Bring much cash with me when I goto ports. Usually just going to the beach when I'm on an island so I don't need much just enough to rent a chair and umbrella and maybe a drink or two. If someone wants to rob me for 30 dollars than they must really need the money. Be cautious any where you go that is foreign to you. Hell now a days you have to be careful just going to a mall in America!
I couldn't agree more with your last statement.

Thank you for the info Scubagirrl! We'll be visiting the Hilton for a Day Pass in the Fall. We went to the Sheraton (now Melia) two years ago and it was wonderful!
