We are considering a Christmas cruise for our immediate family. 22 of us and grandkids ranging from 20 to 3years on Explorer of theSeas. What does the cruise line do differently for these cruises besides decorations. Anybody have experience?

Oh we really likedAlejandro. Haven’t had him except for the one time. Is he still around?

So very sorry to hear about John. We cruised with John and Betty several times and had such good times. Our condolences to Betty and their children. Our prayers are sent.

We have been on a ship with Alejandro and loved it!

We went on a ship tour that went to Piza and had no problem getting around with the wheelchair. I don't do Europe much anymore but I am glad I did what I did in the past years. It is worth the effort.

After being at a table for eight several times and ending up being the only two at the table some nights we gave up on set time dining. Ther are so many options now it is not like the days gone by where you went to the table and saw the same people every night. Many friendships were formed then.

We have four cruises booked with Celebrity and I was not able to use the Thank You. Seems like they only like you if they can get the thank you to bring in a new booking. i need an accessible cabin so we have to book well in advance....no choice. Oh well!

I decided we should try an aft cabin for a change. I am delighted to have found one but it is above the Lounge. Has anyone found that to be a problem?

My husband has ALS (Lou Gehring's Disease). We are going on a transatlantic cruise in October and I called RCI's Customer Service to get a handicapped cabin. We booked onboard ship last month and were told there wer no handicapped cabins available. However, when I called they did find one. It is inside but that's OK because right now my DH has a lot of trouble walking and with balance and I know that in five months he will need the wheelchair and walker. If by some small miracle he doesn't, we would gladly give up the handicapped cabin!

Thanks for the replies. If we go the grandchildren will range from 3 to 20 years. So it sounds like all would find something different to enjoy.
