Well I able to score 2 $500 e/gift cards and 1 gift card that had to be shipped. So $1500, 150 in saving. Not to bad. Checked this morning there are on $100 card left.

Not worried about the room being ready, we won't board until close to 1:00.

 

 

 

My concern is not being able to use the elevators and needing to carry the luggage up the stairs.

The elevators will be working. There typically only one set (normally in the middle of the ship) that they will shutdown for the purpose of bringing the checked luggage up).

For those of you who do carry on, how do you deal with getting your luggage up to your room once on the ship?

I am assuming you talking your room not being ready when you get on the ship. Well if you are Diamond, Platinum or you have purchased the FTF then you can go straight to your room. Otherwise you will have to keep your luggage with you til your room is ready.

We have alway carried on after a forklift destroyed our suitcase. As long as it will fit thought the security scanners than yes you can carry it on.

Question #1. If I put a gift card on my account and do not use all of the money, what happens to it? Do I get the remaining balance back? And if so in what form?

Very random. But I have had more success around the 10th of the months give or take a day or 2 Lately they have been posting about 7am ish.

You can not buy a bucket with cheers. You can get wine with a discount.

Is it still not available at Half Moon Cay?

Is there a time limit on buying the Cheers plan? Or can it be purchased at any point in the cruise? I don't want to purchase it on the first day and we will be at Half Moon Cay the second day. So if at all possible I would like to purchase it on the third day.

We always do interior. Our thoughts are we are not in our room that much anyway except to sleep and change clothes etc, so why waste the money. Plus it's easier to take a nap in the afternoon with a pitch black room.

How long do the $100 carnival cruise gift cards purchased from Verizon typically take? I leave for my cruise January 1, 2016 - is that enough time to get it?

 

I guess worse come to worse if it doesn't come I can always use it next time - just curious what the typical wait time is from order date on the Verizon website.
