The Silhouette has been chartered for the 12-19. We were on the cruise that was leaving on the 8th, had to rebook to the 22nd. We were informed of this back in July.

I also drink Mt. Dew. It was not as easy to find as the Coke products when we were in Sydney, but it is there.

Gullcruiser Wife and I were in Australia in Feb. for ten days before getting on our cruise. We had no problem with a credit card at any of the places we went. We used it for all meals, shopping and tours that we took. You just have to tell them it will have to be signed. Paid cash for taxis and snacks.

Little Britain You should get a bottle of some type of Champane in your cabin when you arrive. The tea that we received was a warm tea and it was refilled everyday. The Champane is a one time thing.

Lois, Could the wine you are talking about be Matua? Wife and I were on Solstice in Australia in March, and she enjoyed it while on the cruise.

Yes you can upgrade the drink package. Will cost 11.50 a person a day, with the tip. You can call Celeberity now are wait to do it when you get on board.

You should be able to upgrade at any of the bars on the ship. Does not take long to do and you can start to use it as soon as the bartender is done.

Gut it is the Top End cruise.

MicCanberra, Question for you, does Celebrity not offer the "Pick Your Perk" to cruiser out of Australia? I am from the US and the drink package is one of the offers here.

Weenie2 Not sure if this will work for you. Log in to My Celebrity. click on manage my reservation for the cruise you are going on. When next page comes up, find view cruise planner orders, click on order history. That page should show the bev package, you can also click on the view order details.

The DW and I both feel the upgrade is worth it. If you get one drink a day from the Molecular Bar you have covered the upgrade. You will also have better wines to choose from.
