I am putting my vote in for the earplugs also. I don't travel by land or sea without them.

 

 

 

I also take Chlorox wipes in a ziplock bag to wipe everything down in my cabin when I get there.

 

 

 

I take extra ziplock bags to gather a small amount of sand at each beach we visit. I use a small glass bottle with a cork and embellishments to make a Christmas ornament . I take a permanent marker to write the beach name on the bag. I used to try and find a Christmas ornament whenever we traveled but I enjoy my DIY ones better.

They always made me dump the sand out upon entering the ship ☹️

I see many complaints about ncl charging gratuities for the unlimited beverage package. I don't want to complain just state that the gratuities are tips for the hard working men and woman who have to make our drinks all day. So I don't no mind paying for the 18% gratuities ahead of time. Probably even low balling the tips for the the amount of drinks that I consume on a cruise. [emoji3]

I got very sick on my first cruise and I was using the patch that goes behind your ear. Now I can't be without motionease. It is like an all natural essential oil that is also safe for kids. Works great for road trips and the flu.

Definitely a battery operated night light and a card maybe a thick rewards card from a store to keep the electricity going when I just step out the room for few minutes. On the breakaway you have to insert your sail and sign card in a slot next to the wall in the room to keep the electricity on. Good to save electricity when not in room though.

All cruise lines are different. That's why I love anytime dining. But for some like the structure of having a planned time for dinner. Good luck!

We did MTD last cruise on Liberty...Thanksgiving week. There was no such option as "wait to be seated"; it was "the only opening we have is 8pm." I had made reservations that were mysteriously lost in the system, and it was a PAIN to get our dining time. This time I have scheduled for every night, and the times vary due to excursions...and I will check when we board! When the ship is busy, I would reserve ahead of time...otherwise I have heard the wait isn't too bad.
