  1. Did you pay via credit card? If so, file a complaint or whatever to stop any payments to Soualiga. Do it asap so he doesn't charge you now. Wow. I am SO glad I decided not to use him again. Its a good tour but there are a few companies out there that do the exact same stops. I got turned off by cap bob for a few reasons before, during and after my tour. It was a nice day but a few things bothered me not to the point where I would write a vicious review but enough where I honestly would not use him again and i have not felt like this with any other tour operator.

What other tour operators do these same stops? Thanks!

  2. My daughter is a vegetarian and we have sailed several carnival ships and twice on the dream. She never had a problem and the wait staff worked with her to make sure she had a great meal each night. With some items they would check with the kitchen for ingredients. Some soups etc were made with chicken stock.

  3. Well, we did the 2/23/18 Sunshine cruise. Ports were Grand Turk, San Juan, St Kitts and St Maarten. Had great weather at all ports. It was a little rough Leaving Canaveral the first night. We had one of the inside cabins, deck 5 aft. Could feel vibrations on most nights, not enough to bother us. Loved the location of the cabin. We thought the food was better than our last cruise on Princess. Lot's of places to eat lunch. This was a premier casino cruise and the casino was really crowded on most sea days and nights. Our FB group did hit $2500 on a slot pull, think we ended up getting around $60 on a $20 dollar buy in. Had fixed early dining. Had a great team serving us. My biggest complaint is it takes time to get a drink at most bars. Not enough bar staff. Overall we had a great cruise. We have been to all ports before so only did one tour. Did a bar hop tour in St Kitts. Only 8 of us, had a really great time. St Maarten is still recovering from the storm damage. Still lot's of damaged buildings, boats sunk in the bays, road damage etc.

Thanks for the information! Did you do an excursion in St. Maarten? Doing the same itinerary in May and trying to book some excursions. How crowded was the ship and pool areas?

  4. It really depends on what you like. We have used them several times and it’s always my favorite port! The iguana farm is very fun. Snorkeling (they took us to a non-tourist beach and it was wonderful). Tour of the area. It really depends on your interests. My kids wanted to try some local foods/drinks. He even took us to the grocery store and helped them pick out some things

  5. We ended up going with Bernard - had a great time - but still lots of devastation there. I’m sure you can’t go wrong with either. Headed back next year so please post how your experience with joyce was!

What did the tour include/go to? Looking for an excursion for May. Wanted to go snorkeling but hear it’s not as good now as it used to be, so looking into other options

    Thanks

  6. We've done this itinerary twice. Just got back on July 4th. Cozumel we do Nachi Cochum. Very nice and fun beach day. Have rented jet skis and done parasailing there. In Belize we did cave tubing through a private excursion and Altun ha and River Wallace excursion through Carnival. Loved both. In Roatan we have done private tours with Victor Bodden. Always our favorite port. We snorkel, shop, tour the island and have gone to see monkeys and iguana farm. Costa Maya we just go to the Tropicante for a beach day and inexpensive massages. We have two girls who always enjoy these ports!
