Thanks all for your replies really appreciate them

Seems pretty clear to me
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase any alcoholic package and to consume alcohol.
I agree but apparently on RCI if you're the legal age in that region the parents can sign a waver and they can get the alcohol package

Folks
I was thinking of booking the Epic for August 2017 for myself, wife and two girls in two separate rooms
At the minute there's drink packages included and they state the Ultimate drinks package is for over 21s
My eldest girl will be 20 at the time of the cruise and she won't be content with a soda package, unfortunately, the legal age over here in Europe is 18 to drink alcohol
Does anybody know of a way I could contact NCL to seek clarification on this or has anybody had a similar experience
Many Thanks

Thanks Clare, that's great

We're sailing this Sunday 20th on the Allure from Barcelona and part of booking was the Select Drinks Package.
We're thinking of upgrading this when we board to the Premium Drinks Package but I'm not sure where to do this. Is there a main desk where we need to go
Thanks

Thanks for checking

Thanks all for the info. Our gut feeling is to go to Florence and just accept that it's a bit of a journey but might be a few years before we get the chance to go back
-
Thanks folks
I had a look at rome in limo but they don't have any shared excursions at the min
The excursion with RCI isn't too bad for price, £75 each, and due to the distance from La Spezia I think we'd be happier using the official one as at least we know the boat wont leave without us
The 5 hour on a bus is a bit of a worry compared to the alternative of DIY Cinque Terre which seems relatively easy to do
Decisions decisions :o

Apologies if this should be in the ports of call section but has anybody been on the taste of Florence excursion recently from La Spezia.
It's a 10 hour trip with a bus journey of 2hrs each way and time spent in Florence with a tour guide, 2 1/2 hrs then 3hrs on your own
Going in 4 weeks and tempted to book it with RCI but just a bit wary of spending 4 hrs on a bus
Thanks

If you can will you have a look on the ship to see the price for a carton, 200, of cigarettes
Thanks

Thanks for getting back with the info really appreciate it.

Amalfi, Positano, Ravello, through the roll call (SHARED excursion) with Joe Banana
A taste of Florence (just Florence, without Pisa), LL06, with RC (2 hr with guide, 3 hr "free time")
Hi Dani
We're on the allure this september and are thinking of booking the taste of Florence tour with RC. How did you get on with it, I read the coach journey is about 2 hours from LaSpezia. Did you get the full 5 hours in Florence and did it all go smoothly
Many thanks

We're on the Sept 13 and was able to book Mama Mia a couple of weeks ago.
Where was it on your calendar as we're going a week later and nothing showing under entertainment

Great review Jim, many thanks

We're booked for 20th September but not showing yet on ours

Hi again Gail, hope you're well not long now :D
I booked the MTD for our first night for the both of us but didn't get an option as to whether it would be a table for two. If the reservation is for two will it automatically allocate us at our own table
Reading this it makes it seem that we're a pair of oddballs :p wanting to sit on our own

Folks
Apologies for bumping this with a few questions that probably seem a bit daft, we're first timers with RCI
We're booked on Allure 20th Sept and when I log onto the the RCI site for our cruise it shows as My Time Dining available to book
1. What restaurants are available as non paying, I've read different reports especially once it comes out of dry dock
2. Is the MTD only for the main dining room
3. Is it possible to book a table for 2 rather than shared on the non paying restaurants
4. When we booked with our TA part of the promotion was the beer and wine drinks package but this isn't showing on my cruises, is this normal
Many thanks for any info

Nessy11, if you could remember the company you used I would be grateful. I am travelling in October on the Allure .
Hi
It was this crowd http://www.aptours.it
Would recommend them as very reliable

We're on the Allure this September but plan to go to Capri at this stop
We were on the Norwegian Epic a couple of years ago with virtually the same stops and we booked a trip with another copy, I forget the name but could probably get it if you wanted, that was the highlight of our week long cruise
It was a small minibus of about 16 of us. We started the trip in Pompeii and spent a couple of hours with our guide in the ruins. We went after this along the amalfi Coast stopping at Positano and Sorrento which was simply stunning
I'd highly recommend doing this, I'm very nearly tempted to do it again this year but Mrs neesy11 fancies an easy day at Capri, which looks great too if honest

Drinks are available in all bars and restaurants. However, the package does not cover drinks from room service or your stateroom cooler.
Thanks for the reply, really appreciate it. That clears that up then, off to the travel agents to book :)

Apologies as this has probably been asked before but I'm thinking of booking the Allure from Barcelona for September 2015 and the price includes all inclusive drinks.
From what I can see it includes Beers, Wines up to a certain price and some spirits. Are these included drinks available in all bars/restaurants on the ship or are their certain parts that are pay only
Have only cruised once before on the Epic last year and loved it but many have recommended this ship
Many Thanks
