So we are sailing Monday on the Brilliance.  I got a good rate on an inside, and I bid the minimum on the balcony a while back but haven't gotten an upgrade.  It looks like there are at least 15 cabins still available to purchase in balconies today.  We are diamond plus...do you think we have any chance for an upgrade once onboard if they are still empty?

the prices prior to sailing are better than the discount you get for diamond plus onboard for the weekly pkg, correct?  We are sailing on the Oasis March 8th and Im just trying to determine if we should purchase it ahead.

When you had the UDP,  did you guys eat there for lunches as well?  Also, did they allow you to use it on non sea days for lunch?

Do you know how much the internet was on the Oasis?  We are diamond and I am trying to determine if the discounts ahead of time are the better deal.

How are you going to take taxi'

s and eat at the restaurants. There is no gas and all the restaurants are closed the place is a mess, and there is a chorea outbreak, raw sewage everywhere. A nice risk for your family to take. You need to know the full picture of the island in real time.

We took a taxi on October 14th from the airport to the Adventure. It was $30 for four of us and our luggage. The guy that drove us said the majority of the island is good...it was certain areas that were hit hard. He had no damage where he lived. There was tons of cars on the road and no lines at the gas stations we passed.

Does anyone know if it would be cheaper to get onboard and apply your diamond discount?

We are on the Oasis and will be in St. Thomas at Crown Bay dock tomorrow. We need to refill a prescription. Does anyone know the name and number of the pharmacy you can walk to? I have been there before but can't remember the name.

thanks for all your replies. The ship does get in at 12:30 am, and we are going to try to get off the ship (walk off with our luggage). The private transport co. said they will be there at 6:45 and we will turn around and do the 7am tunnel. Praying it works out, as the flights were already booked :). He said they have done it before and it has worked.

We booked a 10:10 am flight out of Anchorage. We did not realize you had to go through the tunnel from Whittier. Alaska cruise transportation said we could take the 7am tunnel and be fine, but will the Princess Crown let us off? It is a private transfer to we do not have to wait for others from the ship. Any thoughts appreciated :).

Does anyone know if they have changed the policy on the Liberty regarding lounge chairs in the aft cabins? Trying to decide between the aft balcony and aft junior suite. Also, the junior suites on the liberty would have loungers, correct??

We are going on the Liberty of the Seas on February 24th, and last year we will were able to book shows in advance. This year they are only letting us book the ice show. Does anyone know if they let you book them once you get on the ship? Any insight would be great.
