We're Platinum but had non Plats with us so we waited with them. Next time I'll print that out and take it with us.

Our Premier out of Baltimore last month, we were told we had priority check in but NOT priority boarding.

Would I care, probably not that much....Would I find it rude, absolutely
The "Bubble" mentality annoys me when you are on a cruise. If you want your "own little world", don't go on a cruise....Rent a remote cabin someplace so you don't have to see anyone. That is not the scene on a cruise ship....if you don't like strangers, don't cruise, real simple
That's kind of rude. We have health issues I wouldn't wish on anyone. We love meeting new people but can't eat much. And we shouldn't have to explain that to you or anyone else we are assigned to eat with. A table for two works better for us.

If you see a smiling, happy young guy named Nikola serving drinks in the casino, ask him to get my Funships ready. Nice guy. Tell him I said hi. Have a great time.

As long as she gets back to Baltimore on time for me to get onboard Sat!!!

Thanks for the quick answers. seems like splitting them between everyone's suitcases is the answer.

Ken will be on vacation at the end of October

Can an unopened box of diapers be checked with the luggage? Hoping we don't have to carry it thru check in. Thanks!

As long as The Pride is the only option from Baltimore, 7 times and two more booked.

Was just on the Pride again this past March in another 4K lifeboat view cabin. Can't say with 100% certainty the doors are "child proof", they're fairly hard to open and will close automatically. But yes, directly in front of the doors is a glass "railing" or wall much like on a balcony...even has the wooden handrail on top.
Thanks for the quick answers. Hope to make the final decision soon.

I tried searching with no luck.....
Is the French Door child proof? What's between the open door and the water ? :) I assume it's the same glass wall a balcony has?????
Thanks!!!!

Thanks for another great review. We love being able to drive to The Pride and agree 100% about doing away with the Port Canaveral itinerary. Last time we got on in Balt and didn't get off until Balt.
Thanks also for Ken's email. He answered within minutes and took care of us for our upcoming cruise. It will be our first non-Premier cruise in years. Glad to hear the casino hosts were nice.
Last time we were due to go to HMC it was hit by a hurricane. Can't wait to get there this time.
Thanks again for making our anticipation even greater. Take care.

Those of us that sailed on Premier casino cruises, may have met Kgosi. He was so full of life. Such a happy person. I had the privilege to sail with him a few times and keep in touch with for years. He was one of a kind and will be missed by many.

Hi, Denise. I haven't been on Splendor, but I can tell you that I have never seen this slot machine on any other Carnival ships. Will look for that next time I visit Harrah's though. Thanks for the tip!
It's at Caesars in AC :) I don't think it's on The Splendor.

I agree completely. I have never had a problem with the Players Club people. They have been very accommodating in being flexible with their offers. I consider a number of the PC execs we have met to be lifelong friends. Even a few no longer sailing with Carnival. Great people.

I got my call today. $50 for interior. $50 cash back. Can upgrade to balcony for $120. So, with fees, taxes AND insurance total for two of us in a balcony= $570.
Will try to work it out. Great deal. Now if they throw in the drink card from day 1.....

Pick onboard credit. You'll need your booking #,sailing date, ship and your name. Follow the very easy instructions.

Yes! My cruise bud took flowers her son gave her for Mother's day last year. Made for some nice pictures waiting for cabin and looked good in the cabin all week.

They say marriage is Grand.
Divorce is 100 Grand.

Wolf run! Let's just say that I had very good luck this past week!
Last cruise we won $800 on an 80¢ spin. This cruise we couldn't ever get on it.

Pride has two $1 Wheel of Fortunes. Hit them early on the first day for about $600 and again for $1000 and $800. Good luck
-
Just got off The Pride last Sun. We did have close to a two hour power failure on our first sea day. Better get it fixed before something worse happens.
And we haven't got off the ship at Freeport the last three times there

Congrats on hitting the three double diamonds! Do they have any progressives like Banana King?
Thanks!
Don't know about Banana King. There are a few progressives. And there's the win a BMW machines. $1.80 max.

$1 wheel of fortune. $5 top dollar. Double cheeseburger. Quick hits. All the basics. Hit the three double diamonds on the WoF. Lots to pick from both new and old.
Do Any Ships Still Have the Redundant Generator Up on Deck?

The one on The Pride was removed last month while we were docked at Port Canaveral. Interesting to watch.
