  1. I've done it on the Pride twice. First time, there were wine ninjas. There was 4 attendants and they would sneak up and refill your glass without you seeing them. So you never really know how much you drank.

The second time I did it, there was only 1 attendant, and was not as stealthy as before, but the wine still flowed pretty easily.

I love party's with "wine ninjas"! My wine glass is always full and by the end of the party I'm a happy camper!

  2. Seems like I read somewhere that the Carnival Panorama will be going straight to Long Beach with no European cruises. The Vista did a Summer of cruises in Europe, the Horizon is only doing a month, and now the Panorama appears to be doing none. I guess Carnival doesn't make enough money on European cruises.

  3. Has anyone used the AT&T International Day Pass for a Med cruise? I'm looking at using this on my cruise next month. For $10 a day I use my normal plan to make calls and for any data used. Am I better off with this plan or getting a new SIM card for my trip?

  4. Received a call from Carnival to upgrade from a FH Ocean View to a FH suite for our Carnival Horizon European cruise. The representative made it sound like a deal but I thought it was a bit pricey. The offer to upgrade was $1400 for 4 people. We only paid $3800 for the cruise, port fees, gratuities, and insurance. I thought paying over 25% more was a bit much. I told the representative thanks but no thanks.

    What do others think?

  5. We traveled with our 13 month old daughter. I agree with what the others have said. Plenty of diapers, a small inflatable pool for the shower, and a slim stroller. We had no problems finding food we could feed our daughter. I know your child is younger, but still should have no problem finding food that will be suitable for your little one. Enjoy your cruise and by hopefully by the time your little one is grown they will be a platinum or diamond cruiser!

  6. On which deck is debarkation when you exit the ship?

Are you referring to debarking for a port call, or debarking at the end of your cruise. Port calls are usually on deck 0. As the other cruiser stated you debark at the end of your cruise on deck 3.

  7. Has anyone heard of or stayed at the Holiday Inn Express : Barcelona - City 22@? It is in a neighborhood and not close to La Rambla, but since we are only staying there for a night before boarding our cruise we thought it might be ok. Looks like plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. We are also a party of 4; parents and 2 kids. When I've looked online it seems to be that a lot of hotels don't cater to families, but this hotel has family rooms. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place?????

  8. I too live in the Boston area, and depending on the age of your grandson the Children's Museum may be a good option as well. You also can't go wrong with the Museum of Science. We are members there and enjoy going several times a year.

  9. I just got confirmation my shareholder credit was processed for my cruise on May 8th. It took me several calls and emails after my initial request was made. I've had the same problem two years in a row. After submitting my request I get the response from Carnival that my shareholder form wasn't legible. On one of my calls regarding this I found out they scan the document into their system. I'm surprised they had the same issue two years in a row. I got the direct email of one of the employee's, scanned the document myself and emailed it to her. Within 15 minutes of doing this I had the credit in my account.

I also got an on board credit when I purchased my cruise and had no problem getting my share holder credit.
