I was already planning to get all of our reservations linked together. What is the best way to get in contact with DINING? and about how many weeks before the cruise would be the ideal time?
THANKS

Wondering what the largest table is available to reserve in traditional dining. We are doing just a 3 night on the Enchantment of the Seas because some family and friends want to come along. There will be 12 people. Is it possible to get a table for 12 reserved for 2nd traditional dining????? THANKS!

Tia, I hope I can put your mind at ease. We had an aft-facing cabin twice on the Summit (our favorite - #7206) and were under some heavy wind and waves leaving Bayonne. I couldn't believe how smoothly the ship sailed! It really was one of the smoothest-riding ships we've ever sailed. I would not hesitate to book this class of ship in the worst weather. I really notice how a ship "rides" and it was light years better than anything we've ever had on Princess, for example.
Wow-- Summit cabin #7206 is our favorite too. Been in that cabin to Bermuda twice. Perfect size and super awesome balcony!

Are there plenty of cabs there- to jump in one to the airport, or is there a long wait? Trying to decide if we should make a transfer reservation

Also wondering. Need to get my drink package, but my cruise isn't until January. I like the sale that is ending today- but I think I heard somewhere that they do sales on "Black Friday." Is that true? Is there any way to know that more sales will be on the way?????
THANKS

If for some reason it occurs that you need medical treatment onboard your cruise--- are any of the insurance plans acceptable to the medical clinic upfront---- or do you always have to pay for it yourself and then get reimbursed. Are there any options(insurance directly from the cruise line,,, or from other companies?). What would happen if you had to pay right then, and somehow you couldn't-- what happens? Opinions on best company for best coverage??!!

I'd do a minivan taxi, flat fee of $25 between the port and airport.
Thanks! will it hold 6 people and their luggage??? Hey- I'm in Illinois too! But down close to St Louis
-
Plan on staying at Hilton Homewood Suites near Tampa airport the day before cruise on the Brilliance of the Seas. What is the ideal transfer from hotel to port, and after cruise port back to airport??? It will be 6 people. THANKS

Wow- what a discussion--- about nothing! It is so easy for a man to just wear long pants for dinner in a nice restaurant. It so easy to just follow some rules, and have nothing to worry about. It is so easy, if you feel like being extra casual to just eat dinner at Windjammer or get room service.

Currently how is Wi-Fi onboard the ENCHANTMENT? Does it work- putting your cell on airplane mode and able to make calls and texts thru Wi-Fi? ALSO if you purchase the 2 device package--- will it allow you to change devices? Does it just mean you can use 2 at a time? For example having my cell logged into Wi-Fi, but later in my cabin I may want to use a tablet while my partner is still on with his cell. Thanks in advance for the advice!!

What you all think is the best for lunch on the Enchantment during embarkation? Is the Main Dining room open, too? Any other good options? Also, is Chops Grill open for lunch anytime during the cruise?
THANKS,, Steve

So is VOOM now available on ALL RC ships? Enchantment?
-
Just double checking--- to use VOOM with your smart phone---- you put it on Airplane mode, and then turn on WiFi and the WiFi calls option... then --?? its possible to text and call your travel mate on the ship AND call home, or wherever--- for NO extra charges from your cell phone company?????
THANKS!

Just a 3 day on the Enchantment coming up in January-- been a couple years since we've been on before. Diamond-- lounge still open for Diamond members? Best way to secure just dining room table for 2? Regular seating- decent chance of getting table for 2? or On your own seating better for that? Drink package working well? Wine during dinner much an issue? Favorite bar for before dinner drinks? Without booking a suite-- any chance lately of acquiring a cabana at the upfront area on Coco? Cruised many times--- but I always like some updated tips on the latest info and preferences. THANKS, Steve

Just saw that you can now rent Beach bungalows in advance on CocoCay-- it say on South Beach--- so is this something new? The cabanas right there in the area near the tender arrival doc is not what this is describing? Are those cabanas still available in the old way--- not in advance- suite passengers first? I like it there= not sure about this new deal- has anyone been to this South Beach bungalow booked as a shore excursion? Tell me- tell me-- what do you all think?

I read that the Empress has a "Sunday Brunch" everyday? It says includes a free Mimosa or Bloody Mary. If so, where on the ship did it happen? How was it? Was it really every day? THANKS!

Hi Karon thmpsn!
Which sailing were you on? We were on the July 12- and I agree -- most everything was great! From Granite City, IL- so close by on vacation, AND at home.

Hi Patrick-
Sorry we never got to meet you. We were just 2 doors down from your parent-in-laws. We love those big balconies, and a couple decks down form the Oceanview Bar means very little noise or smoke. I agree with most of your review. Sorry about your cabin steward. We were in the exact same cabin as last year- and we ended up with the same cabin steward. This has never happened to us before, but he was exceptional and recognized us the minute he saw us. We also had a wine steward that we remembered from last year who treated us like kings. The hostess in the Select dining treated us very very well, too- letting us get the same staff almost every night- knew us after the first night, like we had known her for years. Also a new favorite bartender that we vistited with every night. I thought most of the staff was awesome, and I sure have no food complaints. Celebrity is definitely for me- fits the best. I agree with you about the passengers--not ALL perfect, but in general much nicer. Don't think I will probably ever do Carnival again. Glad you all had a great time.

Are there performers from 54 Below in NYC on the Summit this summer?
-
Steve and Mark, Since y'all did this cruise last year we want to hear more about it.
We have the liquor package. How dressy is this cruise at night? We are more casual than dressy. We have an Aqua Class cabin. We were on Celebraty Solstice last summer to Alaska. We LOVED it. Great time.
I will email you later on today!

Which ship and when in July are you cruising to Bermuda. My partner and I are on the July 12 sailing on the Celebrity Summit. Did the same cruise last year. Loved it.
-
Getting ready to sail the Summit to Bermuda again this summer (July 12). Did the same cruise last summer and loved it so much had to do it again--- same aft cabin with the great big balcony- thought it was awesome! Anyway-- are things pretty much the same onboard? Buffet still great with those neat wire baskets of many different foods? MDR menus pretty much the same? Anyone have current menu copies? Martini Bar, and Bistro on 5- current menus??? Starting to get excited! Anything we need to know about the new facility at Port Liberty?
THANKS,
Steve
