Earliest boarding time and transfer to MIA

Recommended Posts

We will be sailing on RCCL Independence of the seas out of FLL. We arrive at 9AM- any suggestions on how we can pass 2 or 3 hours? The stated boarding time is 12:30, but I've been told sometimes they start earlier. Has anyone else checked-in/boarded earlier? i know our cabin will not be available right away. We fly home out of MIA. Is a shared ride from the port our the least expensive? thanx in advance for your replies.

If you are arriving at MIA, you've got at least a 45 minute drive ahead of you to Port Everglades, plus time waiting for bags. I'd head straight to the port. They will normally start boarding around 11am.
