"Harbors of Western Europe"

We did the Rivers of Western Europe in the fall of 2011. If I remember correctly we sailed about 70 miles up the river Garonne to Bordeaux and about the same distance up the Seine to Rouen. It was a wonderful cruise and we might be tempted to do it again if they put on of the "big sister" on this itinerary again.

We did this cruise in 2009 and it is one of the best cruises we have done. Will never forget cruising up the river to Bordeaux sipping champagne in the spa while waving to people from their houses along the river. Very beautiful scenery and a cruise I highly recommend to everyone. One of the other highlights was an evening dinner at a local chateau where the owner greeted us and then took us on a tour of his cellar, we then enjoyed a wonderful meal with wines from his private cellar to match each course. Really so many highlights I could go on and on.
