Equinox/Western Carib

Scheduled for Celebrity cruise leaving Ft. Lauderdale on November 15th. First time on Celebrity. Looking for some ideas for excursions, either from the ship or ones not sponsored by the ship.

Would also like any suggestions or pointers about the ship.

Here are my 2 cents, if you book an excursion through the cruise line at this time of the year, try to decide if it is one you would enjoy in unfavorable weather conditions and/or one that could be cancelled as a result. Usually if its bad weather the excursions must go on and you might not have as good a time as you would with better weather circumstances.

We're doing Sting Ray City (with Stingray tours) in Grand Cayman; jaguar rescue, chocolate house and waterfall (with Gecko travel) in Costa Rica; Naci Cocum Beach (just taking a cab there) in Cozumel; Panama canal & city (with My Friend Mario Tours) in Panama, beach in Roatan (Bodden beach bus); and just walking around the town in Cartegena.
