Which Sandals in Montego Bay?

My husband and I are looking to get a day pass at one of the Sandals resorts in Montego Bay. Does anyone have a preference between Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Royal Caribbean? Is one better than the other? What is the typical cab fare to get to one of the resorts?

Sandals Montego Bay is the original and always considered the party place and the Royal is more upscale but for a day pass probably does not matter.

We just spent a week this summer at Sandals Royal Caribbean and have been to Sandals Montego Bay. Both are near and should be similar cab fare. RC is more quiet. MB lobby has been remodeled and has a younger crowd. MB has a great lunch buffet. Drinks and service are the same quality at each. Sandals offers a free shuttle on the hour to each resort, so you could experience both if you have time. Both lobbies will call you a cab.

I got married at Montego Bay 10 years ago (and since D'd). It was beautiful! Sooooo romantic! A perfect week.
