Any car rental companies provide a shuttle to the port?

Avis is one. Probably Hertz, Enterprise and Budget.

The downtown locations might be closed on holidays, limited hours during the week and maybe only a half day on Sundays.

Last month I dumped the GF and the luggage off at the port and returned the car to Avis on Canal St. They shuttled me to the port (I tipped $5), but even if they were busy or something, I think a cab might have been only about $10.

I used to use Hertz all the time since the Convention Center location is +/- within walking distance, but the rates for doing that skyrocketed so I switched to Avis. Sometimes Enterprise. One day Budget.

p.s. none will shuttle from the airport, but some will let you pick up at the airport and drop off closer to the cruise ship.
