Not on our Christmas cruise six weeks ago.We had Luis - don't know where he is from. IMHO, he was rather non-friendly, and we never said more than two words to him. Once, though, he (we think) comped DW and me for a drink. We were steady players every night until late (BJ and/or craps) and one time, the bar waitress, who knew our drink preferences, brought us a drink without us having otrdered it. When we asked who ordered it, she pointed "there" toward the area where Luis was standing. Oh, well.

Bruce from Peru was the Casino Host on our Nov 2009 Panama Canal cruise. He was very nice and ran the tournaments very smoothly.

Whoops... it was Bruce for us too. Don't know why I remembered it as "Luis".

Thanks for the info. Maxine was on our April Panama Canal cruise and she was the best casino host I have ever seen. On some of the cruises we've been on I've never known who the host was but she was very visible, conducted the tournaments well and had a greeting for everyone she saw. She had hoped to get a promotion and I sincerely hope she did.
