Campo Rico

We are thinking about horseback riding here. They want $15 pp just for round-trip transportation. There would be 5 of us making that $75 total. Anyone know if this place is close to the port and about how much a taxi would be to get there and back? Is Uber an option? Anybody ever do the horseback here?

Hacienda Campo Rico is outside of the fixed rate taxi service zones, therefore metered. I would be weary of paying a $15 per person charge since metered rides are per trip not per passenger. You might want to look into other options or just getting a taxi van (most in the tourists area are vans) to Campo Rico. Now, if the $75 is round-trip with a guarantee that they would be there to pick you up to take you back to the ship at a schedule time, it makes more sense. Although you might have to wait a few minutes, Uber is also available in the Hacienda Campo Rico area and from the docks as well but word of caution: Uber has just two tiers available as of this writing: UberX and XL. Just so you know.

BTW, this is located about 25-30 minutes from the docks, depending on traffic.
