Muddlethrough

My husband and I (seniors) are planning a Viking river cruise Budapest-Amsterdam in September 2013. We are no longer great walkers, but shamble along slowly. Will this be a problem?

My husband and I did this cruise in August and you can choose to do as little or as much walking as you want. Many things off the ship were nearby and within walking distance, other trips took you by bus and then when you got off, the walking wasn't that bad. I don't think that you will have a problem. Have fun!

When Viking sets up their groups for the walking tours (and even their optional tours), they always have one group for those that want or need a slower paced tour. That group will typically take easier routes through the town than the other groups. Go and enjoy!

Thanks to both responders. I feel more confident now. Also, am new to Cruise Critic. It was recommended by folks we met on an earlier cruise.:)
