A little nervous about my Dream cabin location

It's a little late now but after reading some other threads I'm a little nervous about the location of our cabin on the Dream. We sail on the 15th and have cabin 9372. This puts us under the Lido deck and more under the buffet area than the pool. Do you think that will create a problem with noise at night?

Overnight? probably not much. During the day, probably some noise, but may not be that bad. You're not in the best location on the ship, but certainly not the worst. During & right after deck parties, there may be a lot of foot traffic above your room, as well as when the morning rush starts & throughout the daytime. It is a popular spot to be walking: between the pool & the main buffet. The balcony will probably be quiet.

Did you read people saying that it's noisy being below the indoors part of lido deck? Or were the complaints about being below the outdoors part? I can see the outdoors part being more of a problem.

I had read another thread where someone posted about work being done above their cabin and unable to sleep at night. So, I began to worry that being below Lido might have the same issues with noise. I'm probably concerned about nothing as we will not be in the cabin much during the day, but I always try to cover every possible scenario just to be prepared.

You should be pretty good there. The main areas to stay away from are the Night club, Galley, Casino, Show lounge, Piano Bar, and Comedy club. Those are the places that are definitely going to make noise.

It looks like your cabin is under the dining room area of the buffet, so that should be quiet late at night. On your Balcony you might hear some noise from the music on deck, but that would be during the day.

Another spot to avoid on the Dream is under the gym. On an 11-night Journeys cruise in January, I was awake until after 1 a.m. most nights because people were dropping weights on my head (not literally, of course), shaking the ceiling and walls of my cabin. The gym was closed to passengers at that time, but apparently crew members were using it. Complaints about this to guest services would quiet the noise for an hour or so, then it would start again.
