Flights to and from Canal Cruises

Has anyone had any experience booking open jaw flights to San Diego and return from Fort Lauderdale?

I would appreciate any information you have and which websites were most helpful.

When we sailed the Legend in Oct. we used Southwest. $29 one way to San Diego from Phoenix. $99 Ft. Lauderdale to Phoenix. We had to take the first flight of the day to get those rates but it was our cheapest option.

Unfortunately Southwest is not an option for us. We have to take different airlines. We can use either Frontier or America West to get to San Diego, but they do not return to DC from Ft. Lauderdael.
