Dolphin Swim

We are planning on a dolphin swim at Grand Bahama Island for 5/15/05 through Royal Caribean. Our ship docks at 2:30 and the encounter starts at 2:30. Will we have time to do this? Does anyone know if there is a web site for this

place? We are first time cruisers and have a lot of questions. Here are a few:

Is it preferable to have early or late seating, we have three teenage children we are taking

What is interesting to do in Cozumel? We will be there 24 hrs.

Any tips for newbies will be greatly appreciated.

Hope to see you on Grandeur of the Seas departing from Baltimore!!

Thanks

Rick

If you are worried about time, and have 24 hours in Cozumel, I would recomend taking a cab or renting a car right off of the ship and going to Chankanaab Park in Cozumel. http://www.cozumel-click.com/chankanaab.html There is a small entrance fee ~$7 to get in, but you can swim (like Seaworld!!) with the dolphins for much less than the cruise ship price. The cruise that we were on offered a dolphin swim, but it was a watered down version of what we got. While we were swimming off of the noses of dolphins, they were waist deep in water petting them. http://www.cozumelinsider.com/Ddpack4?From=DOLPHIN There is a small animal park, which we didn't do, but there is a beach with fair snorkeling. We rented a car, so we still had time to cruise around. If you have the time you could even drive to some ruins. Anyway, we had a blast, but regret that we didn't spend the money for the video!
