Brisbane short changed by Princess intinerary

For 2011,2012,2013

There are only Three different cruise itineraries for Princess based Sun Princess from Brisbane for the next three seasons/years.

1 x 42 night cruise Brisbane China and Japan, Brisbane

16 x 14 night cruises Brisbane ,NZ, Brisbane.

5 x 11 night cruises Brisbane fiji Brisbane.

and 2 Brisbane Sydney relocation cruises.

Princess must be using the same innovative itinerary specialist as P&O

I am sure that the individuals that determine cruise itineries are professional and take into consideration all applicable factors.

The undeniable fact is that Brisbane, despite the fact that the Bne airport has been voted the best in the land, is not a portal of preference for most overseas visitors.

Thus cruises that start from Bne will in the main only attract passengers from Queensland. O/seas people will join cruises in Sydney (and why not) or if they are desperate from Melbourne.

From my point of view it is great that Princess has some cruises ex Brisbane and I find no grounds for criticism of the limited itineries available.

Although I am glad to see princess basing a ship in brisbane. I am very surprised by such repetition. esp sailings that mirror those of sister line P&O (eg fiji, NZ ) I would be interested in more detailed fiji and tahiti cruises or Northern Australia from my home port.

I can only guess we are to small a market from brisbane to offer such niche sailings and are just expected to fly to sydney to have more interesting cruises
