Seattle...Best Western Pioneer Square

Would love to hear thoughts from anyone that has stayed at this hotel...Wife and I will be staying for the July 16th Diamond Princess cruise...Have read a little but would like to know more...Any help would be appreciated

Also, recommendation for a hotel in the downtown or surrounding area for post cruise...Thanks

The propery is average. Keep in mind that Pioneer Square is full of nightclubs and is very, very busy/noisy on the weekends.

Post Cruise I always stay at the Fairmont Olympic or Sheratons Towers on Pike (great location, close to pike place market and all major shopping). I recommend the Springhill Suites Downtown if you need something a bit more economical.

Pioneer square is not a place that I would walk about with children at night. It is a very lively place , full of night clubs.

Steer clear of this area if you want to sleep and avoid transients.

Stay at the Marriot on the water or the Fairmont(old four seasons) or the Edge water of even the Sheraton. Good luck...
