Transportation to Puerto Caldera -- 2/11/06

My husband and I are looking forward to the Windstar Costa Rica cruise departing Puerto Caldera on 2/11/06. We will be staying in the San Jose (Alajuela) area beginning 2/9, and then heading to Puerto Caldera on the morning of 2/11. We have not yet booked transportation to/from San Jose, but would be interested in sharing a van with others. Please let us know if you have an interest.

We are making independent arrangements, too. I checked on a private transfer...it is about 100-120US each way for up to 8 people. Anyone else interested?

Thanks for your reply. From your post, we presume that you're also on the 2/11 cruise? The $100-120 o/w rate you mention is consistent with what we've also found. We're fairly flexible as to the specific departure time from the San Jose area on 2/11 (as we'll be in San Jose beginning 2/9), so long as we can all make the ship on time! Please drop us a line at
