sofitel houston

I got the Sofitel in Houston by Bush on Hotwire. Has anyone stayed there?

Not Houstan but we just stayed in Sofitel in MIA and were very pleased.

It is a nice hotel and in an area that is not as safe as it once was.

This may help: I spent my honeymoon there, back in 1985. It was nice then! The area is known as "Greenspoint"...we Houstonians refer to that area now as "GunsPoint". If you don't have a car to worry about...AND plan to eat in the hotel, I would venture to say you are safe. I wouldn't be out walking around at dusk.

Thanks for the information. I do have a car rental so may call to see if they have a gated area for them. I am a little worried about it.

Artic Cat...i didn't mean to scare you. Just be sure not to leave anything of value in the car overnight.
