Kuyaba Posted May 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2004 I'm thinking about taking Capt. Marvin's 8:30 tour and his website says that I need to be at his place at 8:00. So, what time do you think I should leave the ship to get a tender to to get there at 8?
Kuyaba Posted May 8, 2004 Author #2 Share Posted May 8, 2004 I would like to add that we'll be on a probably full Victory during spring break and the ship docks at I think 7:00 am.
SheSailsFL Posted May 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Kayaba: I have booked the same early AM trip with Captain Marvin. My understanding is that it is one hour earlier in GC, so you will have plenty of time. Can anyone who has been to GC since daylight time started confirm this for us? edinorl Posted May 9, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Grand Cayman is one hour earlier than Miami time and does not observe Daylight Savings time. Do yourself a favor--the ship will claim to start giving out tender tickets at 8:00 am in the showroom. Be there at 7:30 and you will be one of the first in line and guarantee yourself a spot on the first tender. Just, when you go for tender tickets you must be ready to leave the ship. SheSailsFL Posted May 10, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 10, 2004 OK...forgive me here but if we tender over at 8AM, wont we be an hour early for our 8:00 tour appointment? I am guessing your suggestion is probably good for grabbing the first tender since it can become a rat race if we wait a while longer. Will just have to round up the troops early that morning!
