What Time Do I Need to Leave the Ship to Make My Tour?

I'm thinking about taking Capt. Marvin's 8:30 tour and his website says that I need to be at his place at 8:00. So, what time do you think I should leave the ship to get a tender to to get there at 8?

Kayaba:
I have booked the same early AM trip with Captain Marvin. My understanding is that it is one hour earlier in GC, so you will have plenty of time.

Can anyone who has been to GC since daylight time started confirm this for us?

Grand Cayman is one hour earlier than Miami time and does not observe Daylight Savings time. Do yourself a favor--the ship will claim to start giving out tender tickets at 8:00 am in the showroom. Be there at 7:30 and you will be one of the first in line and guarantee yourself a spot on the first tender. Just, when you go for tender tickets you must be ready to leave the ship.

OK...forgive me here but if we tender over at 8AM, wont we be an hour early for our 8:00 tour appointment?

I am guessing your suggestion is probably good for grabbing the first tender since it can become a rat race if we wait a while longer.

Will just have to round up the troops early that morning!

Thanks for your help!
