For those of you that rent a car to get to the houston pier

We are coming in to houston Hobby airport but we are coming in very early 8am and we was thinking about renting a car and doing a few thing before 12pm when we will like to check in for the cruise. I was wondering where do you drop off the rental when you are finish with it. If i have to go back to hobby airport it wouldnt make sense renting a car
