Splendour of the Seas

Anybody have any experience with Splendour of the Seas, and the Western Caribbean cruise out of Galveston?

We're planning a Christmas/New Year's cruise, and will be taking our 17-year-old wheelchair-bound son, and would love further information.

We've been on the Splendour twice: for 10 night Circle the Caribbean and a Mediterranean cruises. In general, the ship is very accessible. Our outside, accessible cabin (category H?) was L-shaped and large. The bathroom was not as large or as well-equipped as on most newer ships, but it was adequate for our needs.

I am not sure about your specific itinerary, but we have been to most Caribbean ports and although accessibility is generally not good, we have found something for my husband to do in each port. I'll check it when I have a chance and see if I can come up with some suggestions.
