Snorkel Gear on Windstar question

Leaving on the 11/26 Tahiti cruise and I have a question that I hope someone can answer.

We have our own snorkels and masks and mesh bag (thank you to the person that posted the tip about Windstar's "fragrant" bags).

I prefer to snorkel with a snorkel vest. I know that in a lot of places the water is shallow but, I'm not a strong swimmer and it gives me a little extra piece of mind.

Does Windstar have vests for rent/loan?

Thanks in advance

The cruise is one month from today!

I believe that they do, but I suggest that you call Windstar's Guest Relations: (800) 599.8256 or contact them by E-mail: info@windstarcruises.com for all details.

One suggestion is that you let Windstar provide everything except perhaps your mouthpiece (or your tube) to save on packing space and weight.

We returned from Tahiti a week ago. We take our masks and snorkels and use Windstar's fins. The mesh bag for the fins didn't smell; it appeared new. Maybe Windstar reads our boards! We also checked out their vests after being told some areas had strong currents. All of the equipment is complimentary.
