Sailing on Saturday, What to do in the Bahamas?

Recommended Posts

We were there a couple weeks ago. LOVED the Sea Lion excursion at Atlantis. The group of six and two trainers spent plenty of time in the pool getting hugs and kisses and playing with our sea lion.

Hi AquaWtr4me,

We are a group of 4 also sailing out on Saturday. Can't believe it is almost here. Really hard to sit at work:(

In Nassau we are thinking of walking to a close by beach to a place called the 'Fish Fry'. They are supposed to have some bars and restaurants there. Also might just stay on the ship and enjoy all that the Oasis has to offer. Not sure yet.

Laurie,

"Fish Fry" is what the locals call Arawak Cay in Nassau. It is the locals hangout which in my mind means it is good. The Seafood Haven is THE place to go for reasonably priced Bahamian food. The Conch Stew and Conch Fritters are great! Go upstairs and savor the view. It is one of our fav places to go in Nassau.

Goldies and Twin Brothers is also very good. The beach there is really nice with lots of sea shells. I would take a cab over there though. You can walk there but the cab ride is cheap and gets you to/from the docks quickly. Enjoy your cruise!!!
