Where to eat while staying at EPIC Hotel in Miami?

I will stay at EPIC for one night before the cruise, and would love to go to places for breakfast and dinner within walking distance other than Area 31 or Bayside Marketplace. Any suggestions?

And is it safe to walk back to the hotel in the dark after dinner?

You're in a tourist no man's land to be honest.

You have a bunch of options for a light breakfast, Au Bon Pan, Starbucks, Croissant D'or, Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

For lunch I recommend that you get a cab and go to Perricone's

It's about 8 blocks north and two blocks east from where you are. Well worth it! Lovely gardens, delicious Italian food.

I don't love downtown Miami after dark. Bite the bullet and pay a few bucks for a cab. It's just better that way.
