Transfer from ship to GIG (Rio)

Has anyone found an inexpensive, reliable means to get from the cruise ship terminal in Rio to the airport? RioTransfer just rejected my reservation indicating that they are not allowed to provide this service anymore. I also had a quote from another company that indicated a driver and english-speaking guide would be required, bringing the cost for 2 people to about $100. Is this reasonable and the best that can be expected? Apparently the government is requiring the english-speaking guide, even if you only need transportation from point-to-point.
