ventura?

i know, thats what i wanted to ask, did you go the nightclub? see it? do you know what music they played and the age range in there?

We went in all the bars/clubs and I'm not sure which one was classed as the nightclub. I've just looked in the brochure and I'm still no wiser. Maybe someone will tell us?

There was entertainment going on rather than just music playing. I don't remember actually seeing a dance club with a DJ? Possibly the Exchange (English pub)? It was usually karaoke when we went in there. Of all my cruises, Ventura was the youngest crowd.

Hi Phil

Havana bar is *sort of classed* as Nightclub -- its massive and does NOT have the intimate night club feeling - which is a shame . It also doubles up as a back-up for if weather is too bad for Deck entertainment (thats the best time we had -on the top deck of a night, (if their was any thing on that is))

The Exchange bar was the only other decent place - (with some life) on a Kaoroake night etc -- had quizzes and stuff too - its attached /by the casino -so you can hang round their a bit aswell )

Sea days - best place is by pool mid ships sun deck - all the entertainment is on their (if their is any planned) and if you hang aournd about 9 am ish a lady officer goes round and removes anyones stuff she deems to have *saved a bed* , so you then just pop your self on the bed ! *simples*

Obstructed views vary 3 rooms a Tender - so one room you can see through the bit between front of one tender and rear of another -- next room has all but a full tender across - and 3rd room has back end of one and front of next --and so on .

The Tenders are all Deck 8 --so anyone one Prom deck (7) is below the cabin windows ? so no one would see in anyway .

The family rooms are same size as all cabins -- and have drop down from WALLS (not out of the ceiling) single beds.

As for the youth/Gay questions -- the pax change all the time so its anyones guess who is aboard . Their were both gay male/females couples aboard - You will certainly enjoy whether you with parents or not -- The main thing about cruising is the destinations --you will find the ship it self is secondary --somewhere to eat sleep and drink lol

Erm --its a British ship lol what music would you be expecting, Bangla- - Hawaain lol ??

Martin is the DJ - him and all the staff are UK just tell him what you want he;ll stick it on between cheesy stuff - Garage - House -Tamla- Pop- 60's/70's etc .

Theres a resident Steel Drum band aboard if thats what you into --they play in the Atrium mosy days and nights

Yeh, I said earlier all the entertainment is around the pool ( Sun Deck/midships one) on Sea Days and sometimes on Sail aways-

if its Tamla Night it will be mainly that -- 60's /70's night -will be mainly that -- but you can just ask him to play whatever you want -- but you will have a great time whatever the music as the more people up dancing the better the atmosphere - wont you be going to any of the shows then ?? cos the disco stuff is not on every night ?/ although their is mucic played in Havanna late night /early hrs but think thats through a piped set up (not sure)

On our recent cruise (11 to 25 Feb) there were several shows put on by the on board dancers / aerialists, most of which were top notch and comparable to any West End show. These included dancing, singing, fantastic outfits, aerial stunts, balancing artists, magic, etc.

Also there were various tribute artists (as Robbie Williams, Cher, Neil Diamond, Sting) and also comedians too.

Every night there is usually one main show in the Arena theatre (as above) plus various entertainment going on around the ship...you'll not get bored!
