AgentMike Posted February 10, 2011 #1 Share Posted February 10, 2011 I have a Droid 2 phone and would like to keep the GPS on with an offline map program so I can follow our progress at sea. I have read that you can ensure no international charges by going to Settings-->Wireless & Networks --> Mobile Networks and turning on "Home Only". And also Going to Settings-->Data Manager --> Data Delivery and turning off data and data roaming. Does anyone know if this will truly stop all data from being sent and received while not on normal verizon (USA) network towers? P.S. Airplane mode turns off GPS, and I would like it on.
