FLL Question

We're sailing the Jewel in November from Pt. Canaveral, along with 3 other couples from home. My parents live in Sarasota. We're thinking of changing our return flight (for 2 of us) to Tampa, after our return and extending our vacation a week-going over to Sarasota for Thanksgiving and some time with the 'rents.

 

I have a couple of questions-not sure which way we're going to go just yet-we've seen the buses on both I-4 and I-75 coming back from the cruise ports to Sarasota. Not sure what we'd need to do to get on one of those...?

 

And if we were to decide to rent a car, would one be available right at the cruise port, or would we have to go to the airport to pick one up?
