Coral World Shark Encounter/Transportation

I am thinking about doing the shark encounter when we're in St. Thomas in June.

There is no ship excursion for it, and i haven't seen any ship tour that takes you to Coral World either without paying for other attractions with it.

So my question is......is a taxi the best way to get there and back to the ship afterwards for a group of probably about 5-8 people? Possibly more.

Has anyone recently done the shark encounter? Was it worth it? Can you touch them? How close do they get to you?

Is there time to do the sharks and maybe sea lion encounter too?

The ship is in port from 7-3
