Michigan honey Posted April 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted April 10, 2013 We are going to be spending an afternoon in La Havre after we return from a shore excursion in Honfleur. I know that most ships have a shuttle into town. What is there to do in town. We are not museum people. How is the shopping? Any restaurant recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help. Le Havre is a nice town to walk around, with a pedestrian only shopping area. There is a a good indoor marketplace where one can admire the beautifully prepared food, and a war memorial that is right on the river. The shops have a variety of merchandise...fun to peruse. Take the ship's shuttle for a pleasant afternoon. There are some pretty cafe's near where the bus will drop you off - it's France, so the food should be good. suzyheights Posted April 15, 2013 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2013 Has anyone used Label West Travel or Radio Taxis for tours from Le Harve Port to towns around Normandy? I can not find any reviews. Saundra
