As far as I can see the public transport options are very limited. I do not know of any gardens in the area but it is not really my thing so perhaps someone else will know of somewhere. Nick. The gardens were fantastic in May and we enjoyed the visit quite thoroughly. The drive to Dover on the morning of our tour was slightly over an hour, perhaps 1 1/4 hours at the most.
