QE2 Botanical Garden - Grand Cayman

As a Cayman resident I've been to the Botanic Park several times. It is truly an underappreciated treasure.

Katoo linked to her report with photos, including some of the blue iguanas. The park is home to a very successful recovery program to help repopulate the endangered blue iguana which is only found in Grand Cayman.

For any gardening aficionados the Botanic Park is a must see attraction. And it will be well appreciated by anyone who truly enjoys the back-to-nature feel of a tropical island.

The park is a bit far from the port. A rental car is the only practical way to visit but occasionally (read that as rarely) a group tour can be found.

Thank you for the information...

Katoo that would have been awful to miss the ship, glad you made it back on time.

I don't think we will be doing the garden as my husband won't want to drive when we are there. Too bad it looks lovely.
