A Couple of Questions/ Bora Bora

I've read that many cruise lines have a pre-arranged shuttle to and from Matira Bay for about $5. Does anyone know if the PG offers this?

Also, we're thinking of renting a car for a half day. Has anyone done this? What are your thoughts? We're definitely renting a car on Moorea, but not sure that it would be worth it on Bora Bora. We're going out with Reef Discovery the first day.

We rented a car on Morea for a full day and feel it was definitely worth it. Shared it with another couple.:)

There is a shuttle to Matira Beach no matter what cruise ship you are on.
