lovedogs Posted January 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2014 We'll be in San Juan on the Silhouette on 2/18 and are looking at this tour through the ship. Has anyone done this tour? If so, what do you think. We tried to go through Island Marketing, but it was booked. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks. Lindsay P.S. This will be my 1st time on Celebrity - can't wait! ron46936 Posted January 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2014 Most of Old San Juan you can see without taking a tour at all. There is a free trolley that goes to the forts etc. The forts are US National monuments so you Senior Citizen pass is good at them. If you are over 62 and don't have a Senior Pass you can purchase one there. It is good for lifetime and only costs $10 and is good four up to 4 people. Also there are several independent tour vans at the pier that can give a tour at considerable savings over the ship.
cman67 Posted January 26, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Are the forts whellchair accesible? Do you know if there a way to take a foldable wheelchair on the trolley?
