Scotchies - Ocho Rios

While at port in Ocho Rios, my DH and I would like to go to Scotchies. I'm assuming taxi is the best way to get there/back. Could anyone share:

how much the taxi might cost for 2?

Time to get there?

is US $ accepted at Scotchies (or JA $ only)?

 

Is there anything else around the Port in Ocho (walking distance?) worth seeing? We've never been to Ocho so any ohter info you'd like to share is appreciated.

Can't answer about the taxi, but we went to Scotchies after Secret Falls on a private tour with Liberty Tours Jamaica and they did take US money. The jerk chicken is fabulous and the Red Stripe in a bottle is only $2.

This video shows Scotchies and Secret Falls, which is about 20 minutes from the port.

The Ocho Rios Jerk Center is within walking distance of the port.
