Tours by Locals?

Has anyone used a private tour company called "Tours by Locals"? We are looking at them for a tour in late April and I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Hi there! When will y'all be in Aruba? We are cruising the week after Easter on Carnival...We live down the road from y'all in Rome.

I am sorry to be so long in answering your post. I have not been on the boards for a while. We sail on the Carnival Breeze April 26th. We will be in Aruba on May 1st. Is that the same week you sail?

Bully is a great tour guide and a personal friend. We use him every year ( 18yrs) for our transportation. He gives private tours in his large comfortable van. I would email him for a tour. He even will stop at a fabulous bakery !!

I booked with Tours by Locals but, unfortunately had to cancel my cruise due to emergency gall bladder surgery. Tours by Locals required payment in full and would not give a refund even with the extenuating circumstances. You can pay more and get a 'refundable'. I will not book with them again when I rebook my cruise!

We contacted Sonny Binns when we cruised to Aruba at Christmas, however, he was busy and recommended his friend Howard Folks to take us around for a tour of the island. We saw all of the highlights and took awesome pictures!

We paid him in cash at the end of the tour. (I would never sign up for an independent tour that required you to pay first any where in the Caribbean.) Howard was great and we would highly recommend him. He's now on TripAdvisor too with a couple of reviews. HF tours - http://folkestours.com/
