Disembark time in Vancouver

Sure, you can request it but you may not get it. It depends on how many ask for what times. Ask for earlier than you really want on the form you'll be given near the end of the cruise.

Does this work in Seward too?
IIRC on every HAL cruise we've taken we were given a form asking what our post-cruise travel plans were and when we would like to disembark. Ask and you may receive. :) Edited by jtl513

One thing to bear in mind is whether or not you have already had a Canadian port of call.

If you have called at Victoria the day before, you will have cleared Canadian customs in Victoria, and disembarkation at Vancouver will be quicker.

If you must clear CBSA in Vancouver, it creates a bottleneck, but it still clears fairly quickly in my experience.
