Hi Everyone!

 

Well, all the travel is booked for October. I was able to secure a business class ticket on BA from San Diego to BCN via LHR for only 50,000 miles and booked a room for the night before sailing at the Hotel 1898 on points as well. Can't beat that.

 

We usually do sail away up at the Sunset Bar, so please join us if you're so inclined.

Just returned from Eclipse TA - Miami to Southampton. Had a great time except for the weather which did not co-operate! Met some wonderful folks onboard, and enjoyed dining in BLU.

 

Looking forward to sailing on Equinox again, and meeting up with you all.

We did the westbound Eclipse sailing from S-hampton in November of 2013 and had some 3 days of inclement weather, especially in the English Channel. It was fun to see how the Solstice class handled it and I must say she did quite well. We met some good folks on our voyage as well.

Hi folks, My husband Kevin and Zi will be on this sailing. This will be our 3rd Ta, and if all goes according to plan, our 4 tn cruise of 2015. We are going to be on the celebrity Xpedition in the Galapagos, later this month. In July, we will be on a gay charter river boat on the Douro River, in Portugal. September 18 we will be sailing on the Constellation,out of Istanbul, and then, in October we will spend some time in Barcelona before sailing on this trip. We consider 2015 to be our year of travel. When not traveling, we live in Pompano Beach, Florida, just north of Fort Lauderdale.

Hey guys ... we live in Deerfield Beach, not far from you. Maybe we could meet some time to get to know each other. Do you spend the Summer in P Town? David & Larry

Hi David and Larry, sorry for delay in response. We were not ignoring you, we were on the Celebrity Xpedition in the Galapagos Islands, great experience. We are in between travels as we leave on June 23 for Canary Islands, themn a river boat trip on the Douro River in Portugal, with Branfd G vacations. Would love to get together with you when we return, which will be mid July.

My husband Kevin and I just finalized five nights pre cruise in Barcelona. We are looking forward to this trans Atlantic and meeting all of you. This will be our 3 rd T/A. This will also be our 4 th cruise in 2015. We were in the Galapagos in late May, with Pied Piper /Celebrity. In July we were traveling on the Douro River with Brand G . In September we will be on the Constellation with Pied Piper, Istanbul and Greece and Montenegro( for a day).

 

Three weeks after returning from Istanbul we will fly over to Barcelona.

This is our year of travel !!!:):):)

Husband and I have just this week booked the cruise.

The Martini Bar will be very active prior to dinner each night if it is like the last Celebrity t/a we did two years ago. Almost 300 "family" on board!

Glad you found this thread. I find it difficult maneuvering around the "meet me on board" site. How do you know there are so many "family" on board this sailing? Seems like a lot!

There were over 300 on the cruise two years ago.

It seems to be several on this cruise.

Greetings to all. My name is Jeff. This cruise is something I have dreamed of and planned for a very long time. Unfortunately, I will be on the cruise alone. My partner gets seasick and two weeks at sea is more than he is willing to endure. As I will be alone on this trip I would very much like to meet some friends to tour and dine with. I am a medical IT specialist. I love 30s, 40s and 50s films and watch TCM religiously. I also have a fascination with disaster films of the modern era. So, feel free to introduce yourself. I look forward to making your acquaintance.

Hi Joe,

Nice to meet you. Felix and I just moved from Hollywood FL to NC. We were married last October and have been together 10 years. I arrive in Barcelona on 10/26. Using my Hilton points and staying at the Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona.

Thought I would tour the city before the cruise.

Did you guys purchase the premium drink package? I did the math. 5 drinks a day would pay for it. I like Martini's so maybe a good idea?

Howdy Jeff,

We always purchase the premium package, a great deal if you drink the way we doLOL!

Get a large bottle of water to keep in the cabin and grab a bottle as we take shore excursions.

Arrive on the 26th staying at the Le Meridian with points:cool:

Felix and I know a nice lady named Pat who works at Big Lots near where we live in High Point. Shes always talking about her brother in Florida who takes "fabulous" trips. :D She loves her brother and his partner and gushes about them. If this is her, tell her Felix and I have been inviting her over for drinks since we moved here....LOL;)

SERIOUSLY? Robert and I are booked on the Equinox October 2016 sailing! The Silhouette TA was a BLAST! Many awesome nights at the Martini Bar! :)
